Help Argentina / Insight
Today I went to an NGO called Help Argentina, located on the corner of Moreno and Saenz Pena in the Monserat district of Buenos Aires. I spoke with an American, named John Teel who told me a lot about what they do. Over all it looks like a pretty well run organization. The volunteer part of the organization is called Insight. The way that works is the volunteer pays a flat US $300 fee. Of that, 100 goes to the local organization the volunteer will work in and 200 stays in Help Argentina. The minimum placement is one month. The volunteer doesn´t pay any monthly fees, so each volunteer finds his/her own place to stay.
